Gordon is a well-rounded business owner, who established the Carlson Construction Group in 1971.
After working for other companies as an iron worker and welder he went out on his own in 1971. Shortly after establishing his business he purchased Harbour Pile Driving in 1974 and Brymark Installations in 1983. Gordon kept busy managing and growing these businesses before purchasing Vancouver Pile Driving (formerly Dillingham Canada and Delta Catalytic) in 1996.
Gordon has grown the Carlson Construction Group from a start-up business to a $100M+ annual turnover award-winning group that it is today. Gordon is a grass-roots family-oriented individual who is proud to have been born and raised in Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island and successfully grew the business alongside his adult children.

Greg Carlson is an intuitive, strategic and versatile financial leader with insight into successful mergers & acquisitions, real property acquisitions, corporate restructurings, corporate tax planning, and the dynamic challenges inherent in family-owned enterprises.
As Chief Financial Officer, Greg is responsible for managing the Group’s finances and technology, including technology transformations, financial planning, cash-flow and treasury management, and financial reporting which includes a consortium of construction companies with annual turnover of $100M+. As well, Greg is the financial lead for all partnering pursuits, mergers & acquisitions, real estate purchases, material equipment purchases, corporate reorganizations, and debt financing.

G.W. Carlson is one of Vancouver Pile Driving’s senior engineers. His industry experience stretches more than 20 years including work on diverse land and marine construction projects throughout North America.
Currently, as Division Manger - Assets and Operations at Vancouver Pile Driving, the marine and foundation construction arm of the Carlson Construction Group, G.W. oversees the construction operations and a $40 million equipment fleet. He leads the updating of the large equipment fleet, maintaining Vancouver Pile Driving’s competitive edge. Additionally, he leads the Carlson Construction Groups investments to maintain and improve its existing facilities to meet the demands of a growing organization
President, CMF Construction Ltd. and President, IHS Industrial Hazmat Services Inc.
Carla has been active in the construction industry for over 25 years and oversees a range of major infrastructure projects throughout British Columbia and the Yukon. As President of both CMF Construction and IHS, she leads the planning, estimating and project management of bridges, hospitals and other heavy construction projects as well as the implementation of safe Hazmat operations within several industries. Carla graduated from BCIT in 1996 earning a Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering and carries an AScT designation.

Doug is an accomplished international senior leader with a broad background in industrial, business to business and supply chain, strongly focused on strategy, change management and both organic and growth through acquisition. A reputation for developing strong teams and using innovative approaches to differentiate the organization achieving bottom line results. Previous experience includes leadership positions with: Versacold Logistic Services GP, Day & Ross Transportation Group, Acklands-Grainger and Ryder Integrated Logistics. Doug also currently sits on a number of Boards including Crown Corporations, Public and Private Companies.
